Child Care Programs for Ages –
Infants to 12 years old
At Truks-N-Trykes 2, we create a nurturing environment for your child to develop and enjoy every day with us. Each program is unique to your child’s specific needs for their development age. From constant caring attention for your infant, to fostering fun and learning for your curious toddler, to learning and preparing your pre-k child for beginning school, we offer specially designed rooms for each age group. Below, you can learn more about each program we provide, made especially by a team of educators and care givers that enjoy working with your child each day!

Helicopter Room- Non-Mobile Infants
6 weeks- approximately 10 months
This special room is designed to specialize in our youngest infants during their period of life when they need the most constant nurturing we can provide. Our small group size ensures consistent one on one attention while helping growth and development to ensure our infants reach the milestones necessary to ‘graduate’ to the next level of care we provide. We have our parents provide formula, breast milk and/or baby food that they would like for their specific child’s needs. This ensures that each need of your baby is properly cared for just as you would.

Sailboat Room
10 months – 18 months
This room has a natural union of two age groups working together cohesively. Our mobile infants have plenty of safe and inspiring room space to explore new heights while learning their own capabilities. Our one-year olds learn the skills, traits and habits that are typical at their age while being encouraged to become more independent while exploring their growth.
Speedboat Room
18 months – 24 months
Our classroom for this age group brings them into a learning and growing environment for their own age group- reading, playing, creating and developing their new-found skills in a nurturing place while learning to collaborate with others.
Rocket Ship Room
24 months – 30 months
As growth continues, your child is exploring the world around them and making discoveries at a rapid pace. We’ve created a classroom specifically designed to inspire their experiences and develop along with others in a cohesive and fun room!
Airplane Room
30 months – 36 months
Developing social skills is a large aspect of learning in this classroom! While learning how to potty-train, our two year olds also practice sharing with one another while learning their alphabet, colors and shapes. We have a fun and active group that loves the special activities our teachers create for their daily experiences.
Tryke Room
3 yr olds
This PreSchool Prep classroom prepares the children for preschool. We schedule special times throughout their day to introduce the concepts needed to participate fully at the next educational stage. Letter recognition, abstract shapes and body control are focused on at this level. Fun and educational engagement in a nurturing yet independent skill learning environment is found in our Tryke room!
Truk Room
4 -5 yr olds – PreK age
Getting ready for kindergarten is a key goal in this classroom. Social development, promoting independence and self-esteem are skills worked on with each educational lesson. We learn, create, and explore all the things that make being pre-K age exciting!
PreSchool
We offer 3 yr old Preschool M-Th 8:30-11 and PreK M-Th 12:30-3 with a licensed educator. Students explore a theme each week along with a specific letter introduced as well. Our goal is for each student to enter kindergarten with the necessary skills to be a productive learner and to enter elementary school with confidence.
